High Desert, morning rainbow after nighttime snowfall

November 7, 2012

Anza Borrego State Park. Went hiking with a couple friends and decided to stay the night on Whale Peak. Found a nice spot that was flat and surrounded by rocks. In the middle of the night we all huddled together to sleep as the snow and lightning came down. We were mostly well protected. The snow melted off by about 9am, and around 930 all that was left in the 90degree weather was this beautiful rainbow.
